Museo de Oro
Location: Xavier University, Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental
The museum is the keeper of pre-historic artifacts and bones found in
Huluga Cave. Based on the acid racemization done by Scripps Institute
in La Jolla, California, the bones recovered dates back as far as 377
A.D.
Museum of Three Cultures
Location: Capitol University, Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental
Found at the Academic III building of the university, the museum is
composed of three galleries containing the history of Cagayan de Oro,
Maranao Muslim crafts, and artworks done by local visual artists.
La Castilla Museum
Location: Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental
Initially used as a summer residence of Liceo de Cagayan founders Atty.
Rodolfo Pelaez and Mrs. Elsa Pelaez, the house was converted into a museum
where it contains the family’s heirloom and antiques from their

Macahambus Hill Cave And Gorge
Location: Brgy. Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental
This is the site of the first Filipino victory against the American
forces during the Philippine-American war which took place on June 4,
1900.
General Douglas McArthur Marker
Location: Macabalan Port, Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental
In honor of the gallant general, the marker commemorates the events
on March 13, 1942 when Gen. McArthur, his wife Jean, and other American
soldiers arrived at the Macabalan port via PT boat from Corregidor Island
to leave for Australia to form the liberation forces.
Casa del Chino Ygua (Balay na Bato)
Location: Brgy. 2, Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental
Built by the Sia family in 1882, the house served as the meeting place
of Filipino Revolucionarios and the Fiesta Nacional parade in January
10, 1899. The backyard served as a burial site for fallen soldiers during
the Philippine – American war.

Misamis Oriental General Comprehensive High School (MOGCHS)Administration Building
Location: Don Apolinar Velez Street, Cagayan de Oro City
Inaugurated in December 15, 1909, it was part of the 1907 Gabaldon Initiative to build public schools all over the country. MOGCHS was designed by New York architect William E. Parson, the same architect of Manila Hotel.

Constancia Reef

This is a shoal approximately 3 has. in size with the shallowest depth at 20 ft. below the surface. On the south side, the coral reef is in good condition teeming with colorful tropical fishes, pelagic and territorial fishes, sea fans and sponges.
Sipaka Point

Known for its strong current, the spot is good for more experienced divers. Huge sea fans, basket sponges, hard and soft corals, feather stars, string rays, snappers, groupers, and colorful small fishes abound in this area as well as. For the underwater photographer, the clear water of Sipaka is ideal for micro and wide angle setups.
Sta. Ines Wreck

There is an old World War II pontoon wreck at depths starting at 30 feet to about 150 feet. This wreck is now is now covered with different corals and has served as home for small and big fishes.
Monigue Cave
Location: Brgy. Mambuaya, Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental
The cave has a small opening which seems impassable. Inside, there are formations of flowstone, gurpool-resembling, rice terraces, transparent crystals and pictureque speleothems, such as cathedral drapes and icons made from calcites.
Punta Diwata
Location: Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental
The dive spot has a stair step type of carolline slope. The ledges and walls are beautifully covered with marine out-croppings, seafans and sponges. Fish inhabitants include colorful tropical fishes, lapu-lapu, sweetlips, snappers and occasional manta rays glide.
